Scots Bearings Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Marshall, who will be joining as our Bearing Analysis Consultant, from May 1^st2013.

As Scotland’s largest independent supplier of bearing and power transmission products for over 25 years and as part of continuing business growth plans, Scots Bearings Founder (1986) and Managing Director, David Jackson confirms “Scots have taken the lead in becoming the first Bearing distributor in the UK to make such a key technical appointment”.

As an apprenticed trained mechanical engineer (1977-1982) and professional chartered engineer since 1993, with over 23 years of technical experience in the Bearing industry with NSK Ltd and Schaeffler (UK) – INA/FAG, Andrew brings a wealth of specialist expertise and knowledge to Scots Bearings with bearing product and application technology.

Andrew’s key areas of expertise cover a wide span of engineering disciplines, including automotive and industrial segments, with more recent focus in directly supporting the Oil and Gas industry in Aberdeen.

This industry leading appointment in Scotland will offer additional and unparalleled levels of service to the full Scots Bearings customer base, during a significant period of growth.
