INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER VACANCY

Cumbernauld

 

Due to continued growth within our Gearbox and Electric Motor Division. Scots Bearings Ltd, Scotland’s largest independent supplier of Bearing - Power Transmissions and MRO related products, require and additional Internal Sales Engineer to join our team based in Cumbernauld.

In this role you will join a team of technical specialist responsible for a range of rotating equipment including but not limited to, Industrial Gearboxes, Electric Motors, Pumps, Couplings and other associated power transmission products, acting as a referral point to both colleagues and customers.

A key member of the Sales team you will build close relationships with both our customers and branch teams in dealing with technical sales enquiries, producing accurate and competitive quotes and being able to source solutions to meet their needs.

You will work closely with our external sales team, to build key accounts with both customers and suppliers. This includes responsibility for keeping up to date sales literature and maintaining stock levels for your products to enable the business to respond appropriately.

Ideally you will have completed a formal engineering apprenticeship and be qualified to Degree / HNC level in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering however suitable candidates with relevant industry experience will also be considered.

 

Salary will be negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience.
